Mobile health has become increasingly accessible to pharmacists, providers and patients as a means to gather and organize health data. This health data is critical to optimal health decision-making and can be organized into motivational tools and games for patients. In this CE module, trends in mHealth applications and other available Health Information Technologies (HIT) are presented. Specific apps will be illustrated and discussed. This brief course provides a cutting edge discussion of the electronic toolbox for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
